Kenneth Lawrence Moody

Kenneth Lawrence Moody, a devoted tree surgeon and cherished family man, passed away on November 18, 2024 in Commerce, Georgia. Born on October 30, 1969, in Gainesville, Georgia, Kenneth's love for nature and the outdoors was reflected in his career as a tree surgeon, where he devoted his skills to preserving the beauty of trees, helping to enhance the landscapes of countless families and communities.

Kenneth is survived by his three sons, Todd (Chassity) Moody, Anthony (Gabby) Moody, and Kenny (Amy) Moody, each of whom carries a piece of their father's legacy in their hearts. He was also a proud grandfather of eight, embracing his role with the same passion he brought to all aspects of his life. Kenneth's loving brother, Mitchel (Sue) Moody, and sister, Lorie (Cordis) Daniel, will also remember him fondly, drawn together by shared memories and the bonds of family.

He joins his late parents, William and Glenda (Martin) Moody, and his brother Mike Moody in eternal rest. Kenneth’s grandchildren, Anthony and George Moody, precede him in death, marking a profound loss that he now shares with them.

The community is invited to pay their respects during a visitation scheduled for November 26, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA 30529. A funeral service will follow on November 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM, also at Ivie Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery.
