Katherine Renee Kitchens

Katherine Renee Kitchens, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, in Commerce, Georgia, at the age of 55. Born on December 17, 1969, in Augusta, Georgia, Katherine was a person who touched the lives of many with her warm spirit and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Katherine is survived by her devoted husband, Mike Kitchens, and their two children, daughter Tabitha (Casey) Kitchens and son Brandon Kitchens. She cherished the role of a sister to Elizabeth Minard and Patricia Page, along with Lynn Green  and her loving presence will be sorely missed by her 15 nieces and 14 nephews, along with her 15 great nieces and 12 great nephews. The joy Katherine brought to her family was immeasurable, and her legacy of love and nurturing will continue to resonate through them.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Jarrell, her mother, Carolyn Green, and her brother, James Watts. Katherine also mourned the loss of her sisters: Patricia Etterle, Carmellia Oliver, and Samantha Green. Their memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her surviving family members.

A visitation to pay respect to Katherine will be held on June 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, Georgia, 30529. During this time, family and friends are invited to gather and share their cherished memories of Katherine, celebrating the remarkable life she lived and the impact she had on all who knew her.

Katherine's kindness, humor, and strength will be deeply missed yet fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will live on in the love she shared and the memories created with her cherished family and friends.
