Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Johnnie C. Moreland, 67, of Commerce. Mr. Moreland is survived by his wife, Linda Moreland of Commerce; sons Michael Moreland of Shelby, NC, Gregory Moreland of Colbert, Todd Lynch of Commerce, Warren Lynch of Wilmington, NC; daughters Sherri Rodriguez of Athens, Kimberly Moreland of Athens, Denise Moreland of Athens, and Sheila Lynch of Athens; brother Preston Moreland of Lewiston, ID; sister Donna Carpenter of Cornelius, OR, 13 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; 3 Nephews and 4 Nieces. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:30 until 8:30. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in Florida.
