John Jackson Jones, Jr., age 50, died Thursday Jan. 16, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional. He was a native of Commerce, GA, the son of Hank and Betty Carthern Priest and served as a cook at the Waffle House and Hardees.
He is survived by a brother, Ralph Carthern of Maysville,and three sisters, Julie Sellers of Commerce, Betty Sellers and Mary Parker both of Danielsville.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery, Commerce.
