Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces the death of Jeffrey Wayne Potts, 48, of Commerce who died on Sunday, June 5, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Born in Commerce, he was the son of late Janie Potts of Commerce and the late James Thomas Potts. Other survivors include a daughter, Katey Alice Potts of Savannah and two brothers, Terry Potts of Commerce and Daniel McDonald of Commerce. Mr. Potts was cremated and a memorial service is scheduled for this Saturday at 2 PM, along with his mother Janie Potts service, from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. T. Gary Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 pm Friday night.
