Horace Freeman Carlan 77 of Homer, passed away Saturday Feb. 16,2013. He was he son of the late Asbury Franklin and Nina Ayers Carlan. He was a retired logger. Survivors include a sister Linda Hanley of Ila, Ga. and several neices and nephews. Fuenral Services will be Tuesday 2 PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Swayne Carlan officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 9 PM Monday evening.
