Hazel Whitlock

Hazel Whitlock, a devoted homemaker and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, in Athens, Georgia. She was born on February 25, 1974, in Commerce, Georgia. Hazel was well-known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her family.

Hazel's life was dedicated to nurturing and caring for her loved ones. She is survived by her two daughters, Dawn and Breanna Whitlock, who were her pride and joy, as well as her cherished grandchild. The joy she found in her family brought light to her everyday life, and her nurturing spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.

She now joins her parents, John L. and Marie Wallace Robinson, and her late husband, Jack L. Whitlock, Jr., in eternal rest. Their memories are etched in the hearts of those they leave behind, and they all will be missed dearly.

A visitation to honor Hazel will be held on September 7, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Both services will take place at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street in Commerce, Georgia.

Hazel Whitlock leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and devotion that will continue to inspire her family and friends. She will be greatly missed but forever remembered for the happiness she brought into the lives of so many.
