Emma “Ruth” Gunnin Stronigan, age 100 of Anderson, SC passed away on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024.
Born on Feb. 4, 1924 in Ila, GA, Mrs. Stronigan was the daughter of the late Wiley Gaston and Ora Penelope Long Gunnin. She was the widow of Leslie George Stronigan, a retired teacher with Cobb County Board of Education, and was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gunnin.
Survivors include a daughter, Kay Pecic of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren, Kyle Campbell, Ian Campbell; and great-grandchildren, Reid Campbell and Lenox Campbell.
Graveside services will be taking place 2 pm Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024 at Ila Cemetery.
