Elizabeth J. Cartledge, age 90 of Conyers, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Belle Nolan, her husband, James Cartledge, grandson, Jeremy Cartledge, Son-in-Law, Jack King, and Daughter-in-Law, Susan Cartledge. 

She is survived by her daughter, Frankie Cartledge King, son, Jimmy Cartledge, Son and Daughter-in-Law, Tim and Tammy Cartledge, Daughter and Son-in-Law, Elsie and Greg Lightfoot, grandchildren, David and Connie King, Michael and Beth Cartledge, Jonathan and Amy Cartledge, Lisa and Zach Ward, Ryan Cartledge, Cody and Mary Mauldin, Erin Egnatz and Nick, Jessica and Tommy Peller, Great-Grandchildren, Jacob, James, Ali, Olivia, Owen, Mary Grace, Tristin, Kedzie, Harrison, Lucas, and Willow.

She was a devout Christian and a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She was also an avid Georgia Tech fan and enjoyed cheering on the Atlanta Braves. She retired from Conyers Middle School.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 8, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel with Greg Lightfoot officiating; interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 7, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Condolences may be submitted on-line at www.scotward.com.
