Donna Osborn

Donna Osborn, passed away on September 17, 2026, in Athens, Georgia. She was born on April 9, 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia, and will be remembered with love by those who knew her.

Donna worked as a self-employed caretaker, a role that reflected a life of service and compassion. Through her work, she offered care and support to others, leaving a lasting impression through her kindness and dedication.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Carlan, Sr.; her mother, Mary Ann Emmitt Barnes; her son, Timothy Osborn; and her brother, James “Buddy” Hope Carlan.

Donna’s memory will be cherished by her family, including her son, Michael Osborn and his wife, Terri; her sisters, Kay Barrett, Elaine Smith, and Leesa Stropshire; and her grandchildren, Tyler Osborn and Regina Taylor. May they find comfort in the love they shared with her and in the memories that will remain with them always.

Visitation will be held on September 19, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ivie Funeral Home, 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, Georgia 30529. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel. A cremation will follow the service.

Donna will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
