Ms. Knighton was born on Nov. 18, 1945 in Miami Beach, FL; and was preceded in death by a brother, Clayton Knighton.
Survivors include daughters, Cara Celeste Larko, Jean Michelle Knighton; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A direct cremation took place per the deceased wishes.
