Chris Lavaughn Stonecipher

Chris Lavaughn Stonecipher, a dedicated sheet metal worker with Byers Gutter Repair, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, at his home in Maysville, Georgia. Born on January 29, 1965, in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, Chris lived a life marked by hard work and the love of his family.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Paula Byers, and stepfather, Terry L. Byers, who were by his side in his final moments. Chris is also survived by his stepbrother, Terry D. Byers, his brothers, Terry Stonecipher and Johnny Stonecipher, and his sister, Nancy Clinton.

Chris was preceded in death by his biological father, William L. Stonecipher.

According to his wishes a cremation has taken place. 

Chris will be remembered by all who knew him for his strength and the care he showed to his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to resonate within the hearts of those he touched.
