Charles Larry Lane

Charles Larry Lane Sr. will be remembered as a dedicated and hardworking man who excelled in his career as a Construction Superintendent for Patton Construction. Born on January 31, 1938, in Columbus, GA, he was the beloved son of Carl Clarence Lane and Mary Lou Adams Lane.

Throughout his life, Charles displayed a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence traits that helped him succeed in his professional endeavors. He was known for his attention to detail and his ability lead and inspire those around him.

In addition to his successful career, Charles valued education and was a proud high school graduate from the Class of 1958. He was of the Baptist faith and found solace and community as a member of Moon Grove Baptist Church.

On June 13, 2024, Charles Larry Lane Sr. passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication. He is survived by his loving children: Charles L. "Chuck" Lane Jr. of Stockbridge, GA; Rebecca Fitzgerald of Stockbridge, GA; and Kymberlin Nicole Johnson of Colbert, GA. His memory will also be cherished by his six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Per Mr. Lane's wishes, he will be cremated with no services planned at this time.

Charles Larry Lane Sr.'s presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that he has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he leaves behind.
