Brinda Lea (Rice) Cowart

Brinda L. Cowart, age 63 of Hull, GA passed away Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020.

Born on May 20, 1957 in Athens, GA, Mrs. Cowart was the daughter of the late Donald and Charlie Lou Leachman Rice. She was a restaurant manager and the widower of Ronnie Cowart.

Survivors include sons, Scott (Jennifer) Rice, Commerce, Darrel (Mandy) Cowart, Danielsville; daughter, Tanya (Jeff) Bishop, Watkinsville; brother, Glynn (Connie) Rice, Nicholson; sisters, Patricia (Martin) Hernandez, Nicholson, Lynn Fouche, Nicholson; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one nephew, two nieces, three great-nieces, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Butch Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Nicholson Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 PM Friday at the funeral home.
