Betty Ann (Allen) Wood

Betty Ann “Allen” Wood, age 83 of Danielsville, GA passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024.

Born on June 26, 1940 in Charlotte, NC, Mrs. Wood was the daughter of the late Grady and Louise Parham Allen. She was the widow of Donald Wood, she retired from Madison County Middle School where she worked in the cafeteria, was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by a sister, Jerri Bryant.

Survivors include sons, Terry (Tina) Wood, Greg (Linda)Wood; daughters, Brenda (Jeff) Blair, Donna (Brad) Butler; brother, Grady Allen; sisters, Laura Mae Wood, Francis Herbert; nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Douglas Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the funeral home.
