Annette Childs Sewell, age 82 of Carnesville, GA passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Sewell was born on Jan. 24, 1937 in Carnesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Gussie Mae Gipson Lewallen. She was a Para Pro with Banks County School System having worked in Special Education for 32 years. She was a very active member of the Nails Creek Baptist Church and was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bud Childs, second husband, Harold Sewell, son, Douglas Childs, brothers, Vern Lewallen & Charles Lewallen, sister, Patsy Everette.
Survivors include, daughter & son in law, Terri & Jimmy Wiley, Carnesville; brother and sister-in-law, Reece & Susan Lewallen, Martinez; sister, Peggy & Terry Woodall, Jefferson; grandchildren, Sherri Wilbanks, Christopher Wiley, Casey Wiley; and a
great-grandchild, Chloe Wiley.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Nails Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Duane Eller officiating. Burial will follow in Nails Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends
5-7 pm Friday at the funeral home.
