Alice Faye Day

Alice Faye Day 71 of Lula, Ga. passed away Friday January 12, 2024.  She was the daughter of Emma Mae Hoopaugh and the late Jesse Norris.  In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband David Day of the home, 3 sons, Jeff (Tammy) Gooch of Lula, Mark (Amanda) Gooch of Gillsville and Shawn (Nikki) Gooch of Gainesville.  Two sisters also survive Linda Wood of Cleveland and Deena Dickerson of Jefferson.  Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her father Mrs. Day was preceded in death by a son Brandon Gooch and a grandson Colton Gooch.

Memorial Services will be 11 AM  Saturday January 20, 2024 from the Redeemed Baptist Church with Rev. Robby Ledford officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church .
