Rozelle (Wilbanks) Hanley

Rozelle Wilbanks Hanley, age 103 of Carnesville, GA passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024.

Born on July 31, 1920 in Commerce, GA, Mrs. Hanley was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lula Vaughn Wilbanks. She was the widow of Jewel Hanley, retired from Blue Bell Sewing Plant, a member of Hudson River Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by  her husband Jewel Hanley, a son Ronnie Hanley, sisters, Edna Merle, Ruby Massey, Alnora Bone, Callie Mae Hanley, Doris Farmer; brothers, Cecil Wilbanks and Elwyn Wilbanks.

Survivors include son, Milton (Agatha) Hanley, brother, Grady Wilbanks; grandchildren, Mike Barrett, Mark Barrett, Ethan Barrett, Blake Barrett, Kaylie Reynolds, Tess Parker, Jessie Barrett, Drake Reynolds, Anthony Parker, Kathy Ann Barrett, Cynthia Barrett; great-grandchildren, Benton Reynolds, McKenzie Barrett, Ty Parker, Tage Parker, Paxton Barrett, and Maysen Barrett.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shane Wilbanks and Rev. Tommy Childress officiating. Burial will follow at Hudson River Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12 pm until the funeral hour Saturday at the funeral home.
