Ivie Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Roy William Kitchens, age 70, of Carnesville, who passed away at his residence on Friday July 5, 2019. Mr. Kitchens was the son of the late Waymon Wayne Kitchens and the late Gladys Patterson Kitchens. Mr. Kitchens was a logger by trade. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Sue Hardy Kitchens, Carnesville, 2 sons, Michael Kitchens of Hartwell, Steve Kitchens, of Danielsville, a step-son, Ryan Marshall of Carnesville, one daughter, Tina Kitchens of Carnesville, one sister, Annie May Bellamy of Danielsville. Five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive. Services for Mr. Kitchens will be Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 2PM in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Toby Dyer officiating. The family will receive friends from 10AM until the 2PM service. Burial will be in the Kitchens Family Cemetery. Ivie Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Roy William Kitchens of Carnesville.
