James Clifton Sullens, age 74 of Commerce, GA passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018.
Born on March 1, 1944 in Dahlonega, GA, he was the son of the late J.C. and Lula Anderson Sullens. He was a truck driver with Quest Global in Cartersville, of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by a brother, Grover Sullens and a sister, Cora Lee Boggs.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Jerrye Sullens of the residence; son, Jeremy Hudson, Commerce; daughters, Denise Bluhm, Lula, Tammie Brock, Lula, Deborah Ashley, OK, Cathy Hudson, OK, Candy Martin, NC; brother, Eugene Sullens, Lula; sisters, Vernell Gooch, Braselton, Glenda Garner, Dahlonega; 13 grandchildren, one of which lives in the home, Ben Hudson and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Nix and Rev. Matt Motes officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
