Jack Queen Obituary

Mr. Jack Queen age 78, of Gillsville passed away Saturday Nov. 10, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Queen was born Sept. 4, 1940 in Commerce to the late Bruce Fred & Emma Lee Welborn Queen. He was a self employed carpenter and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He served his Country in the United States Army and he was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Carson.

Survivors include, sons & daughters in law, Mike & Tina Queen of Lula, Darren & Michelle Queen of Flowery Branch, daughter & son in law, Sheila & Rev. Bobby Griffin of Lula, brother, Buddy Queen of Gillsville, sisters & brothers in law, Gwennell & Doyle Hulsey, Jane & James Beck, Sandra & Chester Hewell all of Gillsville, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. Sunday Nov. 11, 2108 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday Nov. 12, 2018 at the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
