Edward Gazaway Sr.

Edward Gordon Gazaway Sr., Age 83 of Hull, GA passed away on June 2nd, 2023. Mr. Gazaway was born on September 9th, 1939 in Decatur, GA to the late Hunter H. Gazaway and the Late Melissa Rebecca Gazaway. Mr. Gazaway was a Self-employed Home builder and built over 10,000 homes in Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Blacks Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gazaway is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Gazaway, Daughters Hope Gazaway, and Deborah Jean Dickerson, Sister, Norma Jean Gazaway-Glover and Grandson, Justin Newberry.

Survivors include Son, Eddie (Barbara) Gazaway, Daughters, Annette Lazenby, Sandra (Michael) Beck, Terry (Randy) Renfro, Deloris (Jerry) Bowen and Sharon Gazaway. Sister, Mary Ellen (Ronnie) Shaw. Also surviving are 12 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Niece and 1 Nephew.

Funeral Services will be held in the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, June 9th, 2023 at 2:00PM. Interment will follow the service at Blacks Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on June 9th, 2023 from 11:00AM until the Funeral Hour.
