Billy Jack Owensby, Sr., age 57 of Toccoa, GA passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019 at his residence.
Born on Dec. 18, 1961 in Commerce, GA, he was the son of the late Bobby Jack Watts and Helen Lucinda Owensby. He worked in health care as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Survivors include his wife, Denise Allen Vaughn Owensby of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Jack (Jennifer) Owensby, Jr., Commerce, Jason (Erica) Wolfe, Toccoa; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley (Brad) Cannon, Elberton; brothers, Ray Hanley, Royston, Hubert Hanley, Madison County, Calvin Shadrick, Toccoa; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.
