Robert Dwayne Cowart, age 62 of Jefferson, GA passed away Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019 at his residence.

Born on Jan. 14, 1957 in Jackson County, GA, he was the son of the late Robert Lewis and Joyce Smith Cowart. He was a truck driver with Potts Trucking and is preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Cowart.

Survivors include his wife, Robin Martin Cowart of the residence; two step-sons; four step-daughters; brothers, Steve Cowart, Royston, Phillip Cowart, Hartwell, Mark Cowart, Nicholson; seven step-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 4 PM Friday, Dec. 20, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints, 4859 Mt. Olive Rd., Commerce, GA.
