Josephine (Winfrey) Taylor

Josephine Winfrey Taylor, age 73 of Commerce, GA passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019 at her residence.

Born on Nov. 28, 1946 in Andrews, NC, Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Ensley Winfrey. She was a sales clerk with SAS Shoes and a member of Aquone Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Becky (Shane) Crumley, Athens, Mary Anne McCrackin, Ila; sisters, Margaret Ann Whelchel and Georgia Lee; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 PM until time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with the funeral expenses.
