Fred Marshall Turpin

Mr. Fred Marshall Turpin age 83 passed away Thursday Nov. 14, 2019.  He was the son of the late Thomas Dennard and Sara Melinnie Waters Turpin.  Mr. Turpin retired from the Social Security Administration and was a veteran of the United States Army.  Survivors include his wife Barbara Ann Rackley Turpin of the home, 3 sons Leslie (Sharon) Turpin of Gainesville, Ga. , Kent ( Anna) Turpin of Jefferson, and Bart ( Danielle) Turpin of Commerce, 2 daughters Esther ( Stanley) Houston of Jefferson and Carla ( Gene) Coleman of Hoschton, Ga. 17 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren also survive.  Services will be Sunday Nov. 17, 2019 at 4 PM from the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with burial in the Grey Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 2 until the funeral hour.
