Thurston Harris Obituary
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Thurston Gray Harris, Jr, of Homer, who passed away on Wednesday January 7th, 2015. He was the son of the late Thurston Gray Harris Sr and the late Christine Wood Harris. Survivors include his wife, Betty Lewis Harris, of the home; son, Thurston Gray Harris III of Homer; daughter, Brenda Leigh Harris of Banks County; sister, Mary Frances Piper of Franklinton, NC and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday January 10th, 2015 from 1 pm until 3 pm. Services will be held in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home on Saturday January 10th, 2015 at 3 pm with Rev. Randall Stapelton officiating. Interment will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery.
