John Greenway Obituary
John William Greenway, age 59 of Baldwin, GA passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at his residence.
Born on March 27, 1959 in Commerce, GA, he was the son of Edna Francis Wilson and the late Hubert William Greenway. Mr. Greenway was construction bridge worker with Earl Nix Construction and a member of Gillsville Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his mother include sons, Desta Greenway, Goldsboro, NC, Tydas Greenway, Baldwin; daughter, Kayla Scherr, Eden Prairie, MN; brother, James Bradley Greenway, Gillsville; sisters, Francine Parson, Lula, Maxine Carlan, Cornelia; and 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bradley Greenway officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Gillsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 pm until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
