Janet Mitchell Obituary
Janet Christine Ramsey Mitchell was born October 15th, 1952 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ed and Elizabeth Ramsey. She departed this life Tuesday February 17th, 2015 at Landmark Hospital in Athens, GA.
She worked for Skaps for 12 years.
She is survived by one son, Roger T. Bailey; husband, Dennis Mitchell; one brother, O.B. Ramsey of Gainesville; two sisters, Tina Davie of Toccoa and Ruby Spidell of Gainesville. A host of nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by eleven brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday February 20th, 2015 from 6 pm until 8 pm. Services will be held on Saturday February 21st, 2015 at 11 am at the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry David and Rev. Rob Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Homer First Baptist Church Cemetery.
