Gertrude Blalock Obituary
Mrs. Gertrude T. Blalock passed away Friday May 19, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Rosa Lee Browning Trowell. She was preceded in death by her husband Marshal Fred Blalock. Mrs. Blalock was associated with Avon for 50 years. Survivors include 3 Sons, Marvin (Linda) Blalock of Danielsville, Terry Blalock of Nicholson and Chester (Susan) Blalock of Hull. 5 Daughters also survive, Barbara Thompson of Nicholson, Ruby ( Howard) Bridges of Danielsville, Dianne Fazzone of Anderson, S.C., Alice (Cody) Jolley of Leesburg, Ga. and Lisa (Scott) Hulsey of Maysville, Ga. One brother also survives James Trowell of Dallas, Ga. 27 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 2 pm Monday from the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Blalock officiating with burial in the Center Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM Sunday.
